Hi there, my name is Sumie Tachibana, and I am a fashion designer and stylist from New York, Los Angeles, and now here in Richmond, Texas.
Whether you are a complete beginner or have some experience I can help you take your skills and confidence to the next level and make projects that are worthy.

Bio and Credentials
I have been designing and teaching for over 20 years in New York and Los Angeles. I am very proud to say that every one of my senior students that applied for an undergraduate fashion design school got accepted. All of my college interns designed and created their senior collections on time with more ease and complicated designs.
I have worked in several facets of the fashion industry which included: Elie Tahari fabric buyer, free-lance wardrobe stylist, fashion show producer, photo shoot art director, independent fashion designer.
My work has been featured in publications and media which include Vogue Italia, WWD, Zink Magazine, Hope Street (UK Based), New York Magazine, ABC Local News, Time Out Magazine, and Vestal Magazine.Celebrity clients include: Director Rosemary Rodriquez, Kat Von D, Cyndi Lauper, Alicia Silverstone, Alan Cumming, and Charlotte Sometimes.
